The Techie Awards 2018 are a Business Exchange initiative, created to celebrate the innovation and entrepreneurship of the IT community in Swindon & Wiltshire. We were named as finalists among 12 other companies and were lucky enough to come away with the accolade of ‘Best Tech Security’.
The award ceremony was held at the beautiful countryside mansion ‘Hartham Park’ – which itself is home to over 40 innovative businesses, from entrepreneurial start ups to well established names.
We were put forward as finalists for Best Tech Security against two other companies, and we couldn’t be happier to announce that we came away with the award! It was fantastic to be among such tech-minded and pioneering individuals from some of the best tech companies in Wiltshire.
We’ve been headquartered in Marlborough since 2013, with 6 regional offices supporting our clients around the globe.
The award focused on our website security solution FGX-Web. FGX-Web is an ‘all-in-one’ security solution that bakes security into your website. It comes with a variety of special features that when combined, come together to provide a formidable bulwark for your ecommerce business.
FGX-Web includes:
- An advanced web application firewall
- Daily malware scanning
- Daily cardholder scans
- File change monitoring
- The secure seal
- Website log monitoring
We’re very pleased that the hard work we’ve put into making FGX-Web user friendly, cost-effective, manageable and most importantly – secure, has been recognised at an award level.

There were 13 companies in total up for awards at the event, all of them absolutely deserved to being there:

Earlier this year we were lucky enough to be featured in the Sunday Times SME Export Track 100 (Britain’s SMEs with the fastest-growing international sales) and the Fast Growth 50. It’s only May and already we’ve had a great year! Fingers crossed our luck lasts and our commitment to securing our clients continues to be recognised.
