We're over the moon to announce that Foregenix has been placed at No 59 in the 3rd annual Sunday Times Lloyds SME Export Track 100! Our fantastic clients and talented team were instrumental in helping us achieve this recognition. We are delighted, so thank you to all. This was published in the Business section on Sunday, as well as on the Sunday Times tablet edition and online.
According to the Sunday Times, 'the Foregenix team of globetrotting cyber-crime consultants, and its malware scanners, website security and payment protection software is popular with multinational clients from the Nordics to the US. The success reflects the growing worldwide threat of cyber-attacks, coupled with increasingly stringent customer data protection regulations.'
Founded in 2009, we work with clients in the payments industry, retail and eCommerce, financial services, public sector and governments. Our digital forensics team is recognised as one of the global leaders in the industry and, based on our experience, we have developed a range of products to protect SME business systems - focusing predominantly on eCommerce and store/restaurant/hotel payment systems.
Andrew Henwood, our CEO says there has been growing demand for products such as FGX-Web and Serengeti in view of the increase in attacks on websites, especially eCommerce sites. Sales growth has been particularly strong in North America and is likely to continue in the year ahead, while expected new data privacy rules such as the UK’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) would help to accelerate sales in Europe.
Andrew comments: “As the world becomes increasingly connected, cyber security and data privacy are some of the hottest topics globally. Security is no longer an option but a necessity. Foregenix has earned a solid reputation for our work with some of the world’s largest payment companies, central banks and online businesses. Through our WebScan technology, we are also helping SMEs by ‘baking’ security into previously un-secured business systems. With the majority of the SME market currently under-served and under-secured, Foregenix solutions are assisting a rapidly growing and diverse global client base.”
